Long exposures

Artist: Wade Simmonds
Notable: black and white, an utterly abandoned feeling

Statement: I have started working on a different type of photography that uses long exposures during the middle of the day. By doing this, people, cars, and other moving objects - are not captured by the camera. Leaving a vacant and ominous space. Buildings, bridges, and everyday objects we walk past become something different. It can also make an ordinary subject dramatic in an extraordinary way. Allowing the clouds in the sky to become brushstrokes across a black background.
